Chair Pad Home Loop Kit is a simple yet
versatile solution for one hearing impaired telecoil user to enjoy
TV, stereo system or any audio input, even
telephone audio, (at their own listening level - without
disturbing others) from the comfort of a favorite chair.

There's no receiver or headset required - this system provides
wireless reception via the hearing aid or CI (cochlear implant) telecoil.

Simple "do
it yourself" installation in minutes - just plug it in!
1. Connect the audio output from the TV or stereo system to the Univox 2A
induction loop amplifier.
2. Place the thin, chair loop pad under the cushion of a favorite chair
and connect the loop pad connector cord to the Univox 2A. (The chair
can be up to 30 feet from the Univox 2A amplifier. Run the connector
cord under a carpet or cord protector.)
3. Connect the Univox 2A power adapter to a wall outlet and adjust the
volume control - you're done!

Chair Pad Home Loop Kit is so compact and easy to install that it can be
moved from one location to another and is therefore considered
'semi-portable'.
(Please Note: - The Chair Pad Home Loop Kit induction field is
designed to be local to the looped chair. If sound (via telecoil) is
desired from multiple locations within a room, please

Room Home Loop Kit is a great solution that enables any
number of hearing impaired telecoil users to enjoy TV, stereo system
or any audio input, even telephone audio, (at
their own listening level - without disturbing others) from any location within the looped area.

There's no receiver or headset required - this system provides
wireless reception via the hearing aid or CI (cochlear implant) telecoil.

"Do
it yourself" installation
1. Connect the audio output from the TV or stereo system to the Univox 2A
induction loop amplifier.
2. Create a looped area (max. approx. 400 sq. ft.) by installing up to
80 feet of thin,
insulated, copper wire
around the perimeter of the room . The wire may be
installed underneath carpet or
attached to the baseboard - it can even be installed
underneath the floor by attaching it to basement ceiling joists.
The two ends of the wire loop are easily attached to the terminals on the
Univox 2A amplifier. Leader wires, between the loop and Univox 2A, should
be twisted together.
3. Connect the Univox 2A power adapter to a wall outlet and adjust the
volume control - you're done!

Because the Room Home Loop Kit requires wire loop installation, this is likely to be a more
permanent installation than the Chair Pad Home Loop Kit, although
temporary installations can be made by taping the wire to the floor or
carpet.

Car Seat Pad Loop Kit is an interesting adaptation of the Chair
Pad Home Loop Kit
enabling a hearing impaired user to listen to a
traveling companion via a lapel microphone.

There's no receiver or headset required - this system provides
wireless reception via the hearing aid or CI (cochlear implant) telecoil.

"Do
it yourself" installation
1. Connect the supplied lapel microphone to the Univox 2A induction
loop amplifier and give the lapel microphone to a traveling companion.
2. Place the thin, car seat loop pad on the car seat and connect the
loop pad connector cord to the Univox 2A amplifier.
3. Connect the supplied, Univox 2A car power adapter to the car's
cigarette lighter socket and adjust the volume control - you're done!

This system is so small and easy to install that it may be
moved from one car to another and is therefore considered 'semi-portable'.

Please Note: TecEar does not recommend
the use of T-coil in both ears while driving a vehicle. The resultant
reduction of perceived environmental sounds such as car horns or emergency
sirens could be hazardous to the driver and other road users and maybe
illegal in some cities and states. Please drive safely.

The
Univox
2A amplifier creates a signal from TV, audio, microphone or telephone input that
feeds into a room wire loop or a chair loop pad; the resultant induction field is
picked up by the T-coil (telecoil) receiver in the user's hearing aid or CI.
