The Pocketalker Ultra amplifies sounds closest to the
listener while reducing background noise. The Pocketalker Ultra features a
lightweight, ergonomic design for portability and ease of use. Finger tip
adjustable volume control allows you to quickly adjust to your listening
environment - whether your hearing loss is low frequency or high frequency
sounds.

Conversations:
Enjoy talking with friends without strain and misunderstanding. If your
friend is sitting some distance away, such as at a restaurant, you can use
an optional Directional Mini Lapel Clip Microphone
(MIC054) that will allow you to position the microphone as close to
your friend's mouth as possible for clearer listening comprehension and
reduced background noise. If you need to hear more than one person, a
RadioShack 1/8" mono Y-adapter (Part: 274-310) will allow you to connect
an additional microphone.

In the Car:
Background noise in cars can make understanding a companion difficult.
Pocketalker Ultra brings voices closer making them clearer and louder. The
use an optional Directional Mini Lapel Clip
Microphone (MIC054) will allow you to position the microphone as close
to your companion's mouth as possible for clearer comprehension and
reduced background noise. If there is an additional traveling companion in
the back seat, the
RadioShack 1/8" mono Y-adapter (Part: 274-310) will allow you to
connect an additional microphone.

Television/Sound
Systems: With the use of the included 12 ft.
microphone extension cord, the Pocketalker Ultra microphone can be placed
next to a TV or sound system speaker to provide extra amplification and
the benefit of reduced sound distortion and reverberation.

Telephone
Amplification: With the addition of a
RadioShack Mini Recorder Control (Part: 43-1237) between the phone
base and handset, Pocketalker can provide louder, clearer sound from your
phone. (Note: keypad must be in the phone base, not the handset.)
